SIMTIAR FAMILY CIRCLE

Respite & Family Support.

Time to recharge. Care you can plan around.

Planned support helps individuals enjoy a positive, predictable care experience while giving caregivers a meaningful break. Our trauma-informed care follows the person’s routines, communication and comfort, with support arranged around your family’s needs.

Familiar routines. Thoughtful care.

We get to know the person before respite begins—how they communicate, what they enjoy and what helps them settle.

Ways care can be arranged

Families can discuss in-home, community, out-of-home or overnight support, subject to suitability, availability and the agreed service plan.

  • Regular or occasional planned respite
  • Meals, personal care, play and activities as agreed
  • Daily-life skills and community participation

Continuity for the person and family

Caregiver information, established strategies and clear handovers help make care consistent. We prepare the person for respite, explain changes and include their choices to make time away more familiar.

  • An agreed schedule and staffing arrangement
  • Communication and sensory preferences included in the plan
  • Updates and reviews with the family and authorized supports
