We believe in the worth of every child and with the right support, resources and a nurturing environment, children are able to transcend trauma, thrive to become well adjusted and fully functioning members of the community and contribute positively to the society and the world at large
Our Story
Simtiar Services Inc. endeavors “to provide a safe and comfortable environment in which children and youth will feel at home while maintaining high quality residential services in order for them to grow, learn, feel loved and still have a feeling of connectedness to their families when while apart.
We are committed to supporting children, youth, and their families in the realization of their life goals through spiritual enrichment, compassion, knowledgeable intervention and healing.”
Our Vision
Simtiar Services Inc.’s vision is to inspire positive experience and enhance individual development in attaining optimum potentials. We work with children and youth in their journey to transcend trauma through culturally and trauma informed approaches to creating a safe, healthy, family-like, tranquil, and therapeutic home-based environment as close to community support and resources as possible.

SIMTIAR Service Inc. accepts referrals from Alberta Children Services – Regional authorities and Designated First Nations Agencies and/or other provincial children’s services authorities. Initially, contact is made with the Director or Team Leader to determine the appropriateness of the placement (contract or fee-for-service) and to ensure that the agency’s mandate is suitable.
